Ender's Sister becomes a grandmother- twice in one night!

   Two daughters of Enders Sister foaled last night, hours apart and within just days of the birth of their baby brother, a Medaglia D'Oro colt.  All the mares and foals are located in the same barn just a few feet from one another.

     Early in the evening, just as the Louisville-Duke game (sorry, Darrell) was getting underway, Dragon Army, the five year old Giants Causeway mare out of Enders Sister delivered a colt by Empire Maker.  The birth was without incident.  Dragon Army's sister, Arkanian (by Distorted Humor) witnessed the event from the stall across the shedrow.

     Apparently, she liked what she saw and so later that night, in the wee hours of the morning, she dropped a bouncing baby girl by Street Sense. Everyone is happy and healthy and were able to get some Dr. Sun the next day.

     The three mares have become a clique during their pregnancies and now the six of them will be able to continue on together as their foals will be similar ages.  Everyone should get to know their cousins, right?
