Breeding Season comes to Successful Conclusion

   The 2017 breeding season came to a close when Annabelly proved in foal to Warriors Reward on a June 15 cover, making the farm 20-for-20 in its first season at Green Lantern Farm.

   The 2018 foal crop should prove to be an axciting one, with many much anticipated breedings and high expectations for resulting foals.  Enders Sister, leading lady of the operation is bred to Uncle Mo on an April 18 cover.  The foal will be a 3/4 brother to A.P. Indian.  Highly regarded Clever Beauty is in foal to Speightstown, sire of current barn star Frostmourne on an April 29 cover.  The European contingent includes Athenian (Ghostzapper March 10) and Gracia Directa (Quality Road April 23).

   Helping to overcome the oss of her foal this year, Gotta Have Her is in foal to Exceed and Excel.  We hope to go back to Lope de Vega in 2018.  Other stallions used with the newcomers to the band include Street Boss, Super Saver, Flatter Hard Spun and Noble Mission.  Irridescence went back to Empire Maker on a foal share with Gainesway.  Of course we will finally get a filly this time around.

   Sea Level Drive is in foal to Pioneer of the Nile on a March 25 cover.  In all, we have 20 mares in foal and about 10 fillies on the track.  We will be determining the November consignment soon and plan to have no more thn 25 mares in next year's group.
