Last foal arrives at Golden Age

   The foal crop at Golden Age is in the books for 2016.  Last to arrive was a Declaration of War filly out of Gold Rush Queen on May 12.  The final totals were 8 fillies and 8 colts.  All three Noble Mission colts are large framed and impressive looking, an encouraging beginning for that new stallion.  The most curious foal goes to the Dutch Art filly out of Gracia Directa.  She may have been a puppy dog in a prior life.  Other notable foals include the Warriors Reward out of Clever Beauty, the Paynter out of Sea Level Drive and Scat Daddy filly out of Maggie3 D'Oro.  My personal pick is still the Tale of the Cat filly out of Stella Maker, the first foal born this year.
