Miss Lucky Sevens scores impressively at Keeneland

24 Apr 2013

Miss Lucky Sevens, a three year old Big Brown filly co-owned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Green Lantern Stables, was last seen running an impressive second at Gulfstream Park in her first start at the allowance level back in December.  In her first start after a short winter rest, she scored an impressive victory over the polytrack at Keeneland over a good group of fillies typical for the spring meet.  The daughter of Fancy Clancy went six furlongs in 1:11.

Miss Lucky Sevens hails from the same extended family as Centre Court who captured a grade 1 earlier in the current Keeneland meet.  She is already a half to Fancy Paint (SW, G3P) and El Commodore (G3P).  As primarily a turf/poly miler, she should be effective this summer as she gains experience.
