Exothermic beats winners in second start to remain undefeated

Exothermic, a 3-year-old Empire Maker colt out of millionaire Irridescence (SAF), won his second career start as impressively as the first to remain undefeated.  He stalked a reasonable pace, made a strong move entering the stretch, and pulled away to win easily.  He covered the last 1/4 mile in 23 1/5 and again raced without Salix.  If a reasonable spot can be found in early March, the plan would be to point to the Blue Grass stakes at Keeneland in April.
